The brief.
Hospitality analytics is uniquely demanding because revenue management, F&B, promotions, and customer segments all influence each other in real time. I built this project to work through how I'd structure operator-level analytics that can answer day-to-day revenue questions without losing the strategic view.
The work.

How I approached it.
- Daily revenue dashboard combining hotel RevPAR, F&B revenue, and promotional spend in one operator pane.
- Promotional ROI tracker breaking down free play, match play, and dining credits against incremental revenue.
- P&L variance engine that flags significant variances and categorizes them as volume vs. rate vs. mix.
The outcomes.
- Promotional ROI surfaced as a first-class metric, not buried in finance reports.
- Variance categorization makes the 'why' faster to answer than the 'what'.
- Reusable for any hospitality operator with a revenue management function.
The stack.
